MORNING PRAYER 🙏🏽 Friday May 24, 2019. “And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.” Lord I thank you this morning for consoling my spirit. When I am sad, lonely, depressed, or worried it is you who makes everything better for me. Your spirit opens my eyes to your power over everything going on in my life. Just when I thought things were beyond repair you step in and do what I never imagined. Thank you Lord that today I'm reminded in your word that my sorrows and fears have no place with you. Thank you today that I can get up this morning ready to face another day. No matter what today brings, no matter how difficult people are, regardless of the outcomes today I can say "this is the day that the Lord has made I'm going to rejoice and be glad in it! ‭‭ 🙏🏽‭ In Jesus Name. MORNING PRAYER 🙏🏽 Thursday May 23, 2019. “O sing unto the Lord a new song; for he hath done marvelous things...” Lord today I'm just glad for what you have done with my life. You have done a marvelous thing with me. When I look back over my life, where I've come from, what I've been through, I must give you praise because you have truly done an awesome work in me. I know what you had to work with. I remember how long you had to work with me. I won't forget how you wouldn't give up on me. Today I lift my hands in praise as I am thankful for who I am in Christ Jesus. Thank you Jesus. Thank you Lord. You brought me from a mighty long way. ‭‭ 🙏🏽‭ In Jesus Name. Amen. MORNING PRAYER 🙏🏽 Wednesday May 22, 2019. “Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others.” Lord bless me with a forgiving spirit today. There are some things that I am having a hard time saying "I forgive you” for. I know that you have forgiven me for everything that I have ever done and ever will do because of Christ and his sacrifice on the cross for me. I know that I am suppose to forgive as you have forgiven me, but I need help Lord. I need you to bring peace to my heart. I need you to help me see a new future in myself. I need you to push me beyond my past so that I can be blessed by the future you have ready for me. I need you to remind me that no weapon formed against me shall prosper...and it didn't. Lord I thank you for Jesus today because through him my past has been redeemed, my present has been empowered and my future is full of blessings. ‭‭ 🙏🏽‭ In Jesus Name. Amen. MORNING PRAYER 🙏🏽 Tuesday May 21, 2019. “Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice.” ‭‭Lord today I ask that you help me to get rid of some things that I don't need anymore. All of those feelings of anger that I've held on to all these years. The jealousy that I've kept around that no longer fits me. The bad memories that I replay over and over...those can go too. That broken heart that I no longer have use for yet I still hold on to...I don't need it. Lord I realize that all of these things only bring me bad days, sick feelings and a big headache. Let me do as your word says and only think on those things that are good, peaceful and loving. Today Lord I'm cleaning up my spiritual life and getting rid of some stuff that I should have got rid of long ago. Give me the strength Lord to get rid of it and not just move it. MORNING PRAYER 🙏🏽 Monday May 20, 2019. “I will give thanks to you, Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonderful deeds. I will be glad and rejoice in you; I will sing the praises of your name, O Most High.” Lord some days you just out do yourself. Your blessings upon me are more than I deserve. I thank you today for as I look around at my life there is so much to be thankful for. I have even learned to thank you for those rough places in my life for even they have turned out to be blessings in disguise. You have taken my dark days, my lonely nights, and my rough years and turned them into my praise. As long as I have breath I will praise you. Thank you today for what I've been through, what I'm going through and what you will bring me through for you truly are the blessing in my storm. ‭‭ 🙏🏽‭ In Jesus Name. Amen. MORNING PRAYER 🙏🏽 Friday May 17, 2019. “In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus:”. Lord help me to think right today when it comes to my brothers and sisters in Christ. Help me not to see them as those to be taken advantage of. Help me to forgive them when they are sorry. Help me to understand them when they are confused. Let me show patience to those who need a little extra. Give me courage to correct those who are wayward. Allow me to celebrate those who have worked hard to achieve. When I can, help me to avoid those who can be argumentative. Most of all Lord help me to be like Jesus, so that no matter what I will love them. Knowing that for me some I will love up close and others from afar. ‭‭ 🙏🏽‭ In Jesus Name. Amen. MORNING PRAYER 🙏🏽 Thursday May 16, 2019. “No one will be able to stand against you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you.” Lord I thank you today for always being there. Thank you that even when I feel alone I'm not. Even when I'm afraid I shouldn't be. Even when I'm worried there is no need to be. Even when I'm angry I don't have to be. Lord your peace is with me every day. Lord in you I find all that I need each day. I find joy, comfort, courage, strength, patience, peace, and wisdom. So Lord I'll take a double portion today just in case it turns out to be a long day. MORNING PRAYER 🙏🏽 Wednesday May 15, 2019. “But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently.” Lord today patience is my request. There are things I want to do, answers I need to hear, projects I have to complete, yet it seems like some days I'm just spinning my wheels. Lord help me to place all of my trust in you and to wait patiently as your will for my life is fulfilled. Lord let me not rush into things. Help me not to prejudge others. Remind me to be still and know that you are God and that you don't need my help. From the very beginning you have looked out for me. I'm here today not because of my own doing but because of your grace and mercy towards me. Lord if I must wait, I'll wait. If I must be still, I'll be still. Give me strength as I wait. MORNING PRAYER 🙏🏽 Monday May 13, 2019. “Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?...Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” Lord help me not to worry today. Lord I know that trusting in you is all that I need to get through today, but I have a tendency sometimes to worry about those things that I have no control over. Lord help me today to give my worries over to you. Help me today to place all of my concerns, all of my fears, all of my what if's in your hands. Let my song today be when peace like a river attends my way, when sorrows like sea billows roll, whatever my lot thou has taught me to say, it is well with my soul. ‭‭ 🙏🏽‭ In Jesus Name. Amen.
